Statement on Equality & Inclusion

At Hard Breakers Prague we believe that the strength of our community comes from the unique perspectives and experiences each person brings. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where skaters, officials, and supporters from all backgrounds can thrive.

We have a strict zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, harassment, or exclusion of any kind.
This includes—but is not limited to—bias or harmful behavior based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, body size, religion, or socio-economic status. We take any reports of such behavior seriously and address them swiftly to protect the safety and dignity of our community members.

At Hard Breakers Prague, our team creation and game scheduling practices align with the WFTDA Gender Statement, ensuring that roller derby remains an inclusive and equitable space. We welcome skaters who identify as FLINTA* (from german "Frauen, Lesben, Intergeschlechtliche, nichtbinäre, trans und agender Personen"  meaning women, lesbiansintersexnon-binarytrans and agender people) to participate in ways that are consistent with their lived experiences. This approach ensures that all athletes can compete authentically, without barriers or discrimination.

While our skating teams are composed of FLINTA participants, we value and welcome individuals who do not fall into this category to contribute to our community in other essential ways, such as officiating, coaching, volunteering, or supporting. Everyone in our league is equally respected, valued, and protected, regardless of their role or identity. Together, we create a thriving, diverse, and supportive roller derby community.
